Dose dalacin c 300 mg works correctly for infection ?

Dose dalacin c 300 mg works correctly for infection ?

Depends . . .: Whether any given antibiotic works depends upon whether the infection is caused by a sensitive bacteria. For instance, common cold is caused by a virus and thus won't be affected by any antibiotic. Anyway, dalacin c is a brand not sold in the states. Whether the generic Clindamycin will work "correctly" depends upon what caused your infection. Ask your doc for culture & sensitivity. ...Read more

I'd bet on the strep: Combination of Clavulanate/Amoxicillin and Doxycycline is quite a punch. Is the doxy for the URI or once/day dosing for acne? Was the strep diagnosed with positive throat swab because if not the whole thing might just be a viral infection. Either way, if your sick the illness itself is the most likely cause of your fatigue. Most of the side effects from these two antibiotics are gastrointestinal ...Read more

Can we treat chorioamnionitis with ampicillin and erythromicin / or ampicillin + gentamicin + clindamicin is a better regimen in pprom?

Two diff issues: Chorio is an infection that requires therapeutic antibiotics (amp+gent is a typical regimen; clinda is sometimes added) pprom is different- antibiotics in this case are for prolonging the latency between rupture and delivery to allow for steroid therapy (amp + e'mycin is the best combo.) if chorio develops, delivery is indicated and abx are changed to treat the actual infection. ...Read more
