Cancers increase risk of blood clots (dvt), which can be treated w enoxaparin (clexane) in such a case, both would be given. Every day: I am assuming you are on clexane (called Lovenox (enoxaparin) in the us) because of a blood clot in your leg. You have to use it daily. If you delay a day, the clot can become bigger. Clexane: like other injectable anti-coagulants (anti-clotting) medications often do cause a small amount of local bleeding uder the skin which forms a "hematoma" (mass) which evolves into a hard mass.
