I am on a clexane 0.6 for 3 weeks. Is there a danger of developing pe or the clot is safe already?
Depends on situation: What is the reason Hydroxyurea is being given? One use of Hydroxyurea is to treat resistant chronic myelocytic leukemia (cml, a cancer of white blood cells). Cancers increase risk of blood clots (dvt), which can be treated w enoxaparin (clexane) in such a case, both would be given. Every day: I am assuming you are on clexane (called Lovenox (enoxaparin) in the us) because of a blood clot in your leg. You have to use it daily. If you delay a day, the clot can become bigger.
