I have BV that won't go away. My doc prescribed Flagyl cream & oral-both useless so she prescribed doxycycline. Which doesn't treat gardnerella. Why won't she do cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) oral? Cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) cream-no help

Start slowly: Retin a (tretinoin) is an excellent medication for acne of all stages. However, it is almost universally drying and irritating when someone is getting started. Go very slowly and only use a "pea-size" amount to the facial skin. It should be applied at bedtime. Clindamycin is usually applied at a separate time (am) after cleansing the face. Do you apply clindamycin phosphate gel USP 1% after washing your face or do you apply benzoyl peroxide befor that one or do you mix them?
