Tested a few drops of liquid clindamycin on skin after last use (1 yr ago) I was itchy. Get itchy/redness often with ABs. Told DDS & said to try anyway. Also Penicillin allergy. Skin on arm got red after it dried on it. Can I take it or is it allergy?

Diabetes. Pen allergy. Cycle of clindamycin post oral surgery. "Probably infected in spots." Prescribed another Clin cycle combo w/ metronidazole. OK?
My doc said stop clindamycin @1st sign of diarrhea. Just passed dark loose stool w/ some mucous, not black/tarry/foul smelling though. Also having moderate to severe abdominal pain. Infx (non-gi related) still ongoing & cleocin works well. Should i stop
Yes immediatly: You described very well psdomembranous colitis , due to clostridium difficile by use of clindamycin.
