Clear Wart On Hand
Depends: If the nerves need to re-spout from the neck down to the palm (because the nerve axon it self has been destroyed) it can take months (so long as scar tissue does not block the pathway back to the skin, sweat glands etc. Sometimes local damage to myelin insulating the nerves can be repaired by the surviving oligodendrocytes. This usually takes less time to occur. (weeks). ...Read more

Difficult to say: With just that small bit of information it is hard to say with certainty. But blisters can be seen with herpetic breakouts. Some patients with eczema can have a blistery type of reaction. There are other conditions to consider too. So you may want to have this examined. ...Read more

Several treatments.: You can try over the counter wart removers, but be careful: i've seen them do more harm than good. Other options your doctor might offer include cryotherapy (freezing the wart), electrocautery (burning the wart), laser treatment, or several different topical chemical treatments. If the treatment is typically uncomfortable, your doctor can numb the area before proceeding. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
5-6 tiny pinprick bumps on palms & palm side of fingers. Warts, or tiny blisters/callouses? I drove 300mi on Sat... but remember no palm pain.
Dyshidrotic eczema: is the most common cause of this symptom characterized, as you describe, by irritation/inflammation resulting in small pin-head sized blisters which coalesce and lead to peeling and itching. Associated factors include stress, swings in temperature, hands in water or chemicals. Keep moisturized, regulate stress, wear gloves. May need prescription steroid cream from PCP or Dermatologist. Stay well:) ...Read more

A dermatologist froze off 3 warts on my left hand, and now I have 25+ smaller warts on my left hand. Tried burning, and got more warts then too. Why?
Viral: Warts are caused by a virus, and occassionally this "rebound" activity will occur. See you doctor again and get a cream to use that will increase your own bodies immune response to fight the wart virus, called aldara (imiquimod). It might work to help your body clear the virus. Don't give up! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Had a small callus on my palm near wrist. Spread looking sort of like athlete's foot. Now is red/tender and has tiny blisters filled w/clear liquid?
What is the cause of an itchy body, with warts that have a clear liquid that are also itchy in the hands and feet? Is there a cure?
See a dermatologist: Warts generally don't itch, or have a clear liquid in them. This is something else. Acute fungal (tinea) skin infections can present this way, but don't occur real often on the hands (although it is possible). I suppose you could try an athlete's foot cream such as lotrimin (clotrimazole) ultra, but if it doesn't get better within a week, it's not fungal and you should to see a doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

MAYBE: To get HIV, you need close contact with someone with the disease, and some access to their body fluids. It is more likely to pass in any activity where friction/minor trauma is involved. Certainly if the contact source has HPV warts, s/he may have another STD.Skin tags occur in the absence of a STD and have no relevance to this discussion. ...Read more

Best to be treated: Other kinds of skin bumps can look like warts, and nongenital warts are uncommon in adults -- so maybe those weren't warts. Although your immune system will eventually clear your genital warts, it can take months or years. Much better to see a doctor or clinic and have them treated. Good luck! ...Read more

Does bazuka clear a wart I have been treating mine on my thumb for 5 weeks on advice of my doctor how long should I wait before another appointment?
Size and location.: Salicylic preparations to treat warts usually work best on smaller ones. I am not a fan of using an emery board or sanding devices when treating warts because they tend to make micro cuts in the skin. The viral particles can then be spread through the new cuts. The treatment, as with most things, depends on size and location. To protect from complications, no more than two weeks between visits. ...Read more

Whats the best way to get rid of warts on hands? Should I be concernd about them spreadin elsewhere?
Doctor freezes them: Warts on the hands, or on most other parts of the body, can be frozen off by a primary care doctor or a dermatologist. Usually, it takes 3 visits or so. After each freezing part of the wart dies, until finally all the remaining warty skin is gone. Painting over-the-counter wart removal acids on ones warts is a lot more work than having a doctor freeze them. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
