Clear Toxins From Body
I dont think you can: All you have to do is google "body detoxification" and you will find hundreds, perhaps thousands, of methods and products to help the body detox itself. However, I have not seen any scientific studies that prove that such a thing happens, or that any of these things work. As far as i know, only time works, and it works well. A healthy diet, exercise and a positive attitude helps you feel better. ...Read more
Poisonous substance produced within living cells or organisms;man-made substances created by artificial processes are thus excluded. The term was first used by organic chemist ludwig brieger (1849–1919). For a toxic substance not produced within living organisms, "toxicant" and "toxics" are also sometimes used.. Toxins can be small ...Read more

Eat right: Avoiding recreational drugs, smoking, fast foods is a good start. A diet of vegetables, fruits, chicken, fish, limiting red meat to 1-2times week should be good enough to supply the needed nutrients you need. Exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, and getting enough rest (8 hours) nightly are also important items. ...Read more
Textbook needed: This simple forum is not the appropriate venue for your question. It may take a whole text book to explain all the processes that your liver accomplishes in one day. Perhaps you can take some classes on biology and physiology. ...Read more
Doubtful: The skin is a barrier against things entering our body...Or leaving it. The odds of a patch, chinese or otherwise, being able to selective suck out toxins are fairly slim. They are deigned to change color on contact to moist skin, giving the appearance of having removed something harmful. ...Read more
How does the body filter toxins (ie heavy metals) from the environment and in the food that we eat?
Via the kidneys: Through the glomerular filtrate. Even the ones that are a bit toxic to the kidney, like cadmium, make it out. There's some storage of some of the problem ones in the bones. Please be discerning in your reading, and be advised that most "independent" labs that will test you for multiple heavy metal poisonings are cynical scams. ...Read more

The virus, yes, but: The viral antigens can be cleared from the body but evidence of the infection remains behind in the form of antibody to the surface antigen (anti-hbs) [which is also resent in those who have received hbv vaccine]. Carriers remain hbsag (+) for 6 mo or more & will have chronic hepatitis b, elevated liver enzyme alt, & liver inflammation. ...Read moreSee 4 more doctor answers
Vinegar doesn't work: and nothing else does either, at least nothing else that won't be detected by the current testing methods used. Water loading will reduce the creatinine and specific gravity of urine- that is detectable. Use of acidic substances (which actually makes almost no difference anyway) will alter the urine pH and that will be detected, and other cleansing agents don't work. STOP SMOKING POT - that works. ...Read more
Yes and No: It can help release toxins, but please realize that your body naturally wants to get toxins out. When you have enough fiber in your diet, the toxins will bind and be eliminated. Make sure your liver has what it needs to detox appropriately. I do not believe colon cleanses are necessary. You can get bloating, cramping.. Don't force a detox. Support the body and it will detox on its own! ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
Live healthy: Your body naturally cleans itself. Do yourself a favor and eat sensibly and take up exercise. Ignore everybody who tries to get you to use an exotic "purge" or "cleansing" procedure -- these are a waste and can be dangerous. Everything is made of chemicals, and even your body is naturally somewhat radioactive. Fitness is your best defense. ...Read more
No.: Hysterical e-mails to this effect have been circulating almost as long as e-mail has existed. The usual message is that harmful substances such as aluminum and parabens can be absorbed through the underarm skin. There is no credible evidence that any substance in deodorants or antiperspirants is absorbed in any amount significant enough to cause you harm. ...Read more
Flushing out your blood can drinking lots of water flush out nicotine and other toxins from your blood?
NO: Detoxes, flushing, cleanses - whatever you want to call them - are of no proven value to human health, and may be hazardous to health as well. The body, including the GI tract, liver and kidneys, do a perfectly adequate job in getting rid of all the toxins we need to get rid of. Lots of people make lots of money off these detoxes etc., and you are doing yourself no favor by buying into it. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

You can't: This is a common subject of discussion by charlatans. There are even bogus labs that diagnose everyone with toxic heavy metals. If you are interested in this stuff, get with an evidence-based holistic physician. If you have an actual exposure, get with a physician with a focus in this area. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
What toxins?: Many people use the vague term "toxins" to scare u and drive u to buy their product. While there are toxic byproducts of metabloism, urea, carbon dioxide etc that your body needs to clear, it does this already (excellently) using you liver, lungs and kidneys. Most other "toxins" are imaginary. Eat healthy, drink plenty of fluids, exercise etc and dont waste your $ fighting fake toxins! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
