Clear Bubble Inside Lower Eyelid
Bubbling or bulging of a clear film on my sclera when I move my eyes side to side. Also, there's yellowish brown discoloration around iris that seems to be moveable as well under lower eyelid too?
Causes of chemosis:
Bruce, It looks like you have some fluid that accumulated under the conjunctiva (the clear film covering your sclera) and this is called chemosis. It can be clear, pinkish or yellowish.
Is it on both sides?
How long has it been there and what were you doing when it started?
Is it painful?
Have you tried using artificial tears?
There are many things that cause this, need more info. ...Read more
My on poked my eye left a clear dustlike thing in eye white close to lower eyelid not painful but very annoying won't go away since 4 days?
Get checked: I just answered a shorter version of the question. After 4 days there is probably very little risk of infection or complication if there are no other symptoms. If a small foreign body got embedded in the conjunctiva, this could probably be removed in the office with eye drop anesthesia while sitting at the slit lamp (of course, by an ophthalmologist). ...Read more
Small swelling under lower eyelid, with dermatitis around. Dermatitis cleared with eumovate - came back when I stopped. Can it be sebaceous carcinoma?
Main concerns relate to under-correction (not enough fat/skin removed or muscle not tightened adequately) or over-correction (too much fat/skin removed). The result may be less improvement than desired with under-correction versus hollowing, rounding or a pulled-down appearance with over-correction.
Much more serious problems such as muscle injury or vision loss are very rare, fortunately. ...Read more

I have a meibomium cyst on my lower eyelid. Dr said it should go in couple of months. 9 months later and I still have it, what should I do?
Open and drain: If it is bothering you it can be opened and drained or removed in a five minute office procedure. Otherwise there is no harm in leaving it alone. I assume you have used hot compresses four times daily as well as a mild antibiotic drop at acute onset already. If not, that is still worth a one week trial. ...Read more

This may be a chalazion or hordeolum. If red and painful it likely represents the a localized infection of and oil gland within the eyelid (hordeolum). Some people call each of these conditions "styes."
you can use warm compresses to help for spontaneous resolution. If this does not do the trick, a trip to your eye doctor may be in order. Courses of medications or incisional surgery can help.
There can also be other growths on or near the eyelid - most are benign. Your eye doctor would have the benefit of having magnification (slit lamp exam) when evaluating these lesions. ...Read more

Most of these are simple for your doc to treat.

My right lower eyelid is a bit swollen and hurts. Please advise what it can be and what should I use to fix. Thanks in advance.
Chalazion (stye): A distinct nodule with tenderness and redness of the lid is often a stye (chalazion). Warm compresses x 30 minutes 2 x/day often helps. Also, 1/2 cup of rice in a knee high pantyhose that is microwaved for 15 seconds (and testing on the skin to make sure it is not too hot) is useful. Recurrent chalazia or ones that do not respond to heat need to be seen by an ophthalmologist +/- biopsy. ...Read more
I have a small red painless bump in my lower eyelid margin (kind of the crease of the eyelid) for almost 2 months. What could it be?
Many things: There are many conditions that can appear on the eyelid margin. It is impossible to diagnose without examination under a slit lamp microscope by an ophthalmologist. Eyelid styes, papillomas, blepharitis, even skin cancers can occur on the eyelid. If this bump is new, than you need to be examined by an ophthalmologist to determine the diagnosis and then further treatment. Good luck! ...Read more
