Why do I have a positive clear blue ovulation test while taking sprintec 12 days into my new cycle?
First blame test: While home pregnancy tests are very accurate, everything is fallible, so retest now. If you get a second positive test, call your ob/gyn, as you will need to stop birth control and get evaluated. Helps to mentally review if intercourse / sex play around mid-cycle (=ovulation) last month to determine "how worried" to be about this. Good luck! ...Read more
Why does the clear blue ovulation predictor sticks only show me ovulating one day of the month when it says it will show u the 2 most fertile days?
Often positive 1 day: Ovulation predictors show the hormone surge in the urine that triggers ovulation and that surge lasts less than a day. When the predictor turns positive a woman will ovulate in 12-30 hours. So have sex that day and the next day. Those are the 2 most fertile days. You don't need to check a predictor any more that cycle once it turns positive. Hope this helps! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have been using clear blue ovulation detectors for 2 months now. Why haven't I got pregnant?? am I doing something wrong,
Don't worry: Even for a 21 year old (correct age?) chances are at best roughly 20% per cycle, that's why normal women may take up to 1 year to conceive. Clear Blue helps with timing but does not change those odds; be patient keep trying, likely nothing is wrong. Good luck. ...Read more
Hi, I have been monitoring my ovulation with clear blue ovulation tests. On Saturday I had a positive, however Iv been heavily bleeding since?
I tested today with clear blue ovulation test and I got high fertility but it seems like I have a very heavy period, is this normal?

Had (+) LH surge on 12th day of cycle (tested with clear blue ovulation test) while taking sprintec. How is this possible? Will I get pregnant?
Not likely: Ovulation is still possible with hormonal contraception. Pregnancy is prevented by other action of the birth control pill such as making cervical mucous difficult for sperm to cross, slowing down transport of the egg, and making the lining of the uterus unsuitable for pregnancy. This is provided the pills have been taken correctly. ...Read more
Hi I have just used a clear blue ovulation dual hormone test and it came back positive but I am due my period tomorrow??
Why?: If you know that your period is due tomorrow, and you know that ovulation usually occurs mid-cycle, I am curious why you decided to do the test at this time. Although ovulation usually occurs mid-cycle that this not the case in all women nor all cycles. A woman can theoretically get pregnant at any time during her cycle. ...Read more
Tried clear blue Ovulation Monitor for the first time, day 16 shows high peak on 21 I started bleeding and cramping. I'm very regular 28 dc?
TTC. I am 3-5 DPO and on day 14 of my cycle. I am using Clear Blue ovulation test strips. I have red blood ONLY when wiping. This has never happened this early in my cycle. My cycles are 24-26 days. What could this be? Too early for implantation?
Spotting: Some women have spotting at the time of ovulation. If this is a one time thing it usually resolves on its own. If this continues to happen then consider seeing your Obgyn for an evaluation. You will have to wait and see if you got pregnant this month to determine if this irregular bleeding was implantation bleeding or not ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Is it possible to conceive if I had intercourse on Friday and Friday morning was my peak fertility as per the clear blue ovulation test?
I have a question about detection of ovulation with a opk? I started using the clear blue digital ovulation test 20pk day 6 of my december cycle to try and catch my LH surge. I tested twice everyday, once at 1p the other about 10p. The first time I detect
I: I agree with the rep that the 1st day that you detected a surge most likely represents your true lh surge. The cramps that you described are often experienced by women that ovulate but their timing is less specifically related to the exact time of ovulation. Implantation is usually not associated with discomfort. Cramping pain lasting more than 2 days is less likely to be related to ovulation but may be common when ovulation inducing drugs are used or patients have other underlying condition such as endometriosis. Keep in mind that there is only about a 20% chance of conception each cycle under optimal conditions. If you have proven past fertility and continue to ovulate you should have an excellent chance of conception within a few cycles. If you are not pregnant within 3 or 4 months or over 35, other testing should be considered. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
When should I use clear blue for ovulation. And in case it gave me smiley face when best time to do intercourse to achieve pregnancy.?
Women ovulate two weeks before their nest period; thus for a 28 day cycle - day 14, for a
30 day cycle day 16 etc. The fertile period is
one and two days before ovulation, when the cervical mucous is most favorable. Incidentally, there is always sperm in the fallopian tubes if you are having sex 2-3 times
a week, so you don't have to worry about it
