Whenever I eat salty foods such as soft pretzels I get a clear blister on the inside of my mouth on my lip. Is that normal?
Always?: Has this always been the case? If so, then I am thinking you are just really sensitive to the salt, or maybe even something else (brewer's yeast, etc) in those foods. It may just be causing irritation to the lining of your lips. If it is always in the same location...or if this is a new thing for you, however, I'd probably get it checked out, just in case. Depends: A blister on lip could be just a manifestation of herpes that most people are afflicted with (type 1, not 2 which is genital herpes), unless a burn or other trauma is implicated it is likely a a herpetic lesion with a clear liquid (serum) which will resolve in 1-2 weeks.
