Just keep clean...: Some degree of pain, redness, and "swelling" at incision are expected, worst for 1-2 days, and get better day by day afterwards. As long as it moves in such expected postop course, you're ok. All you need to do is do nothing but keep the incision dry and clean. Why? No: Liposuction is performed through very small incisions. It is not necessary to places stitches in the incisions. I used to place stitches, but now i leave them open so that all the fluid drains out.
