Clarithromycin Warnings And Recalls
No: It won't harm you but will probably not be effective. Do not take it. Get a new prescription.
Yellow: Yellow with a blue a for abbott labs.
24 hours: It's pretty much gone in 24 hours. Depends on issue.
All: meds have side effects. Some obviously have more than others. Your doctor prescribed this medicine for you. He/she knows your history and your other medicines so I would not worry about taking this med. If you should have a reaction to the medicine stop asap and call your doctor
Since I've taken Biaxin (clarithromycin) so many times in the past, will it help again this time? When will it start working? I started taking it yesterday evening?
Etoh and Clarithro: Phillip353 ~ you can drink on anything (except FLAGYL! and ANTABUSE! ) but reduce intake. ( Clarithro can cause diarrea or intest hurrying and so does alcohol. The combination could reduce absorption of antibiotic) So yes, but dont let the dog out ! And I am trusting your 19y to behave as 49y , k? :-))
Depends on…: Whether missed dose is at beginning of treatment or towards the end. Missing dose at beginning may allow drug level to drop below the therapeutic level; so bacterial resistance may develop. Missed dose towards end of therapy shouldn't do serious harm since a therapeutic level has been maintained. If possible, take the missed dose as soon as possible unless next dose is due.
