I've been taking celexa for 4 years and my dr thinks it could be causing my liver function #'s to be 'borderline'. True?
9 day old was breastfed while mom on celexa. Elevated liver enzymes. Is celexa the likely cause? What else may cause that in newborns?

Can combination of Propranolol 10 and Citalopram 20 decrease BP to 105/55? My BP was so last night at 22:30. Can this indicate a leaky heart valve?
Low BP maybe: Since both propranolol & citalopram are metabolized by similar liver enzymes, propranolol may built up in the body and lead to low blood pressure. This is rarely encountered in clinical practice but possible. A lower dose or a different medication in the same class may resolve the problem. Symptoms are more important than numbers. Not sure but May Yes: Creatinine is very popular especially athletes, body builders & sportsman. Someone also used to treat depression. Caution: You might be cautious about this combination for 2 reasons. 1- Ibuprofen can enhance the antiplatelet activity of citalopram and bleeding is a possibility. 2- tetracycline inhibits the liver enzyme (cyp 3a4) that processes citalopram -- so it could build up in your system, resulting in more sedation or other side effects.
