This red flag, to anyone who cares about health and especially mental health, would cause me to have a very compassionate but frank discussion with you about mixing a stimulant with a sedative or two different forms of the same sedative. Yes with monitoring: These medications would not likely interact in a dangerous manner although this degree of complexity would require management ideally by a psychiatrist. The interaction of sam-e and Buspar (buspirone) as well as sam-e and Adderall would be important to watch carefully. Also, there are some indications from basic science research that anti-inflammatory agents may change the effectiveness of antidepressants. ...Read more
In most people: It depends on the individual. All of that serotonin can put a patient with bipolar disease at risk of a manic episode. If it hasn't happened, it wont. Excess serotonin can cause rapid heart rate, anxiety and shakiness. I personally try to avoid using multiple drugs that work the same, since it can lead to toxic side effects. I like using drugs like abilify (aripiprazole) if I am treating mood disorder ...Read more

If not, don't take such a high dose. Have you considered taking something like melatonin instead of the Nytol or the diazepam? ...Read more

Taking 1000 mgs Depakote 10 mgs Valium 10 mgs Ambien at bed time. Can i still take 5 mgs of saphris (asenapine)?
Ask your doctor: Dd your doctor prescribe these to be taken all at once? The combo of valium and Ambien is deadly. Please don't take them together tonight, and call your doctor in the morning. As for Depakote and saphris, (asenapine) do take these as going without could cause a relapse of your bipolar disorder. Be well. ...Read more

The c may also want you to wear cardiac monitor to have it check your cardiac rhythm to see if you have any problems with the conduction system of your heart. B could be a sign of a serious problem. Not really: 10mg is really a minimum dose to be effective, however if you are noticing a lot of side effects such as feeling tired or spacey, ask your doctor about a slower titration, and increase to 10mg only after 2 weeks or even a month on 5mg. And it really takes at least 20mg of Prozac (fluoxetine) to be effective, less than that and you just get side effects and no therapeutic benefit. ...Read more
