I have hypothyroid. I have a skin rash on my hand and the top of my leg. My liver enzymes were high. Could it be lupus?
Ana320 homogeneous, sed rate 5, CRP 5, skin rash from sun, hx. 1996 of ana80, CMV igg58, EBV igg>90, liver and kidney cysts, mild splenomegaly?
No simple answer: A postive ANA is not a true marker of disease. Your photosensitivity may be a sign for Discoid lupus. I would suggest seeing a Rheumatologist fresh, and let them perform a full history and physical and not just test. The probability of a severe disease with normal ESR and CRP is lower. They are nonspecific but can be increased in most rheumatological disease. See a good MD, a full exam and history Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Could be: It might just be alcoholic hepatitis, but it could also be cirrhosis. Can atarax cause skin rash on lower left abdomen, above waist line and about 3/4 of the way from belly button to left side? Should I be concerned?
Possible: Nearly all drugs can cause a skin rash in a small % of people although this is not a common side effect of Atarax. I suspect that you might have started taking Atarax from an itchy skin condition and thus may be caused by something else. Skin involvement per se is bothersome but not life-threatening. Try topical hydrocortisone x a few days If problem persists, see dermatologist Read more
