Not the best: At your age, Cipro (ciprofloxacin)floxacin is not the best treatment. Epididymitis is usually caused by gonorrhea or chlamydia in young men, and Cipro (ciprofloxacin) won't treat either. The treatment (after doing tests for sexually transmitted infections) is usually with Ceftriaxone plus either Azithromycin or doxycycline. Read more

ONE beer???: If it's really one beer, pretty much anytime. Would like to know what kind of infection you were being treated for, though. Alcohol is generally not a good thing to consume (especially in larger quantities) when a person has an infection, since it has negative effects of white blood cell activity and production of antibodies.
