A sliver goes in -: -smoothly, but has rough edges, & when pulled out, there can B a wood fragment left behind. Even if not, U probably have an infection from the contaminated wood. Best 2 C a fellowship trained hand surgeon. A small residual fragment is hare 2 C on imaging . Many times it just has 2B explored, & hope it is all removed.
