Ever since my ovarian cyst rupture i got traumatized thinking it was appendix i keep thinking it's chronic appendix I have anxiety what can I do ?
Appendicitis: Chronic appendicitis is very unusual. A ct scan can usually determine whether or not you have appendicitis. Having a cyst rupture can be very dramatic, painful and scary. Luckily, it is hardly ever serious even when it hurts a lot. Your body does a nice job of getting things back to normal by itself. The pain and tenderness may last a number of weeks, but it will get better - don't worry. ...Read more
Can chronic appendicities cause pelvic pain ? Or can that be due to my ovarian cyst rupture a month ago & late period ?
How long does it take for ovarian cyst rupture to cure ? Had pelvic ultrasound everything okay I have anxiety i keep thinking chronic appendix
Trust pelvic US: Every woman differs, but usually 6-8 weeks. You might want to temporarily ease off sexual activity until you are pain free. If pain worsens or fever, seek medical attention. Doubt it has connection to appendix even though pain is in same general area. Good luck, heal soon. ...Read more
When a person has chronic high blood pressure which anesthesia is best spinal or general put to sleep fully to remove complex ovarian cyst?
Spinal; see anesthes: I'm not an anesthesiologist, so the best person to talk to is whoever will be on duty on the day you are supposed to have the surgery. But, to my knowledge, "being put to sleep" (general anesthesia with a gas) RAISES your blood pressure, while spinal anesthesia can potentially lower it (for the duration of surgery). Best to get it controlled before surgery, though. TTYD or use HT Prime for how to. ...Read more

R.O. volvulus: Symptoms all appear related to the sigmoid region of bowel. Pain in right grion under hip bone. Hurts when I try to turn right when sleeping/relaxing. Chronic dull ache . Neg appendix, ovarian cyst, GI test??
Adolescent. Lower right chronic flank pain for 3 years. Hematuria daily. History of kidney stones. Clean scans minus an ovarian cyst.
Get checked,,,: There could be several reasons for this. It could be from many bouts of infection or it could be from stones or it can be a defect in the ureter-bladder valve causing chronic reflux. It's best to go to your doctor and get more tests like an intravenous pyelogram to scan the urinary tract and a urinalysis to check the urine due to the blood and stones. Best of luck. ...Read more

Can complex fluid filled ovarian cysts become cancerous? Why might there be a bright ring around it on u/s then no ring on f/u u/s? Causing much pain.
Yes it can: Complex cysts can be cancerous depending on their size and rate of growth. A CA125 test can help decide its nature. Ultrasound is a good test to measure increase in size and also may show any solid components inside the cyst. You should get the ultrasound repeated in 3-4 months and have your gynecologist guide you further. You may need surgical removal if it is causing you much pain or increased s ...Read more
