I have a sudden onset of cva and flank tenderness on my right side. Very mild pain when pressure is applied. No other symptoms. Is this a kidney issue?

Pain under right ribs, small area tender when pressed. U/S negative for gallstones. Blood shows slightly raised white cells. Suggested cause? Tests?

Sober, with f1 hepc and recent high gamma GT of 93, high AST of 47, normal ALT of 46. Gallstones and tenderness and feeling of heat in top right of rib.
Biliary colic: Gallstone attacks aka biliary colic are right sided, above the umbilicus, lasts 20 minutes or longer, associated with nausea and occasional vomiting. Fatty foods make it worse. Doubt cancer: Cancer usually doesn't cause pain. Even though the pain does not come after eating, it could be your gallbladder. See your primary care provider, and ask if its appropriate to get an ultrasound of the gallbladder. Even without stones, there's something called biliary dyskinesia that could be the problem.
