Most likely reflux: Most likely cause is acid reflux even if there is no heartburn. Only 1/3 of people with reflux have heartburn. Consider avoiding caffeine, alcohol, acidic or spicy foods, smoking, eating less than 4 hrs before sleep, sleeping with the the head higher than the heart, and antacids. Could also be throat tumor so consider ENT evaluation if symptoms present longer then 2-3 weeks. ...Read more

Treat sinusitis!: She is draining viscous mucous down her throat. She may need antibiotics. Warm moist air will help (netty pot, hot shower, etc). Avoid antihistimines. If continues, see your doctor. Don't want to develop pneumonia! ...Read more
