Hormonal Suppression: Excisional surgery is only a temporary fix for chocolate cysts related to endometriosis. Unless your ovaries are being removed (and you're too young for that), one thing to try would be hormonal suppression; hibernating your ovaries, via use of continuous oral contraceptive pills or an injection called Lupron (leuprolide) that shuts down your cycling.
