Any doctors out there who have tried sleep/activity/etc. Tracking devices and services (e.G., jawbone's up, fitbit, nike+ fuelband)? Thoughts?

For example if I have not met my step goal by dinner time a postrprandial walk becomes more attractive. At night, the fitbit can provide useful information regarding quality of sleep. The web software allows for tracking of calorie intake andweight. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Why do so many medical offices ask for unnecessary & intrusive personal information (ssn, drivers licenses) unrelated to medical records?
Required by law: It is required by law & insurance contracts that they have with companies & that you signed with those same companies. Finally, insurance companies use this info to track your health & put it into a central database. ...Read more

General safety or concerns of chiropractic care? Concerning Seizure activity? How to choose a quality chiropractor?
Advice: Most chiropractors are safe, but neck manipulations have ruptured discs, injured spinal cords, caused dissected arteries, and resultant strokes. The latter could lead to seizures. Therefore would eschew high velocity high amplitude neck "adjustments". Best source for finding quality, might be orthopedic surgeons who work with them, but think an Osteopath could provide far better care. ...Read more
