Chills On One Side Of Body
Shaved pubic area one day ago, today fever, body/aches chills, pubic area swollen, red, itchy, some bumps, groin pain both sides. How to fix?
Nervous condition: A unilateral symptom often indicates some type of neural process. I would ask your doctor for a thorough evaluation, because this could progress to something more serious. I would worry about a stroke or a mini-stroke affecting one half of your nerves. Nerves remember control everything from pain, to tingling, to itching, to temperature, to the 'standing up of the hairs' on the back of your neck! ...Read more

Best to get tested: Strep will go away without meds, but there is a small risk of complications (rheumatic fever, for example) if left untreated. Can Lyrica (pregabalin) cause high fevers, chills & severe body aches, even though I DC'ed it 7 days ago due to presumed side effects? Or is cause unrelated?
Sounds like the flu!: Lyrica shouldn't do this, and at any rate it should be out of your system in a week. You should take lots of vitamin C (at least 4-6 gms daily) with lots of fluid (at least 6-8 glasses), take Tylenol (acetaminophen) for fever and aches and see a physician if not better in a day or two. ...Read more

Do I have pneumonia? I have been sick since the third of february. I have cold like symptoms, chills, sweating, pain on the right side of my chest, for 3 days my body ached very badly (is no longer aching), shortness of breath, haven't really been coughin
Symptoms: Symptoms of pneumonia can include shortness of breath (especially when expending energy) and coughing. The cough could bring up sputum that is mixed with blood or sputum that is brown, green or yellow. Sweating with clammy skin, fatigue, fever and chills, exhaustion and vomiting can also occur. Since you are still ill after ten days, you should see your doctor. It can be hard to distinguish the flu from pneumonia but your doctor can listen to your lungs, get a good history and possibly take a chest x-ray to help with the assessment. If you only had the flu, would have expected it to have resolved already. ...Read more

When your body temperature is real hot and you always get cold chills through your body what does that mean?
It's all physiology: Bacteria and viruses that cause human illnesses have specific requirements; oxygen, sugar, protein, and a limited temperature range for life and replication. With chills we bundlle up & reduce body heat loss ...Read more
