I had a complete thyroidectomy two months ago. What is the mean starting dose for thyroid supplements? I have problems with low body temperature.
Depends on health: Healthy individuals are frequently started at 100 mcg of levothyroxine. Don't use armour thyroid. Less healthy individuals might be started at 50 mcg .
