What is the recommended dosage of Vitamin C for children aged 7/8 with the weight in the high 70's/low 80's? It is for immune system health.
Vit C: Vit C is water soluble, which means the body will use only what it needs. The amount recommended, RDA, varies depending upon patient age as well as the purpose for taking the vitamin. So for a 7/8 year old the RDA is 25 mg and the UL (upper limit) safe to give is 650 mg daily.
