Is it okay to mix childrens allegra & childrens tylenol (acetaminophen) to treat cold/pains on a 2 year old?
Yes but.....: Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Allegra are ok together but Allegra is not useful for "colds" as it won't control the runny, stuffy nose unless due to an allergy to inhalants (e.g. Dust mite, pollen, pet dander). If she cannot sleep at night, try a cool mist humidifier, a teaspoon of honey or saltwater nose drops. Good info here: kidshealth.org. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Infant advil (ibuprofen) has the same ingredient as childrens only it is more concentrated. A maximum dose is: infant advil: 2.5ml every 8 hrs versus children's advil 5ml every 8 hrs. See your doctor if you find your son is not improving over time. ...Read more

Studies have shown that children do better overall when a low-grade fever is allowed to continue during chicken pox. Do not use aspirin, ever, in children! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Both work, but...: Both are effective at reducing fever, aches and pains. Both are generally safe, in appropriate doses. Motrin is antiinflammatory, tylenol (acetaminophen) is not.
