Teeth and the Chills: I'd need some more information. If it was right after the procedure it can be an anxiety release. It will pass quickly. Sit down breathe deeply and slowly. Have someone else drive you home if necessary. If the timing is different than this, then please. Send more information.

I am sweating and have the chills but no fever and feel weak.?

Chills: Even though you have no fever, you probably have an infection of some sort. Viral infections often cause weakness. Get plenty of rest, drink fluids, and see a doctor. Most people can take tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen to help with chills or aches.

See doctor: Chills are not usually associated with hives unless you have an infection. It it has been present for over 6 wks (which it does), see an allergist.

Body aches: It could be something else. The flu usually comes on a little quicker. See how it progresses for more definitive symptoms such as fever or congestion. Regardless, rest is in order.

Tough to tell: Fever? Distribution of pain. Suggest you seek counsel from your pcp asap. Sounds like a viral illness, but positional change issues could be deeper into the inner ear.

16 year old daughter... Feels freezing cold has chills but no fever she has a slight sore throat but not major pain. No other systoms... She does have chrohns

With: With severe chills and a history of crohn's, she should be evaluated immediately by her doctor, particularly if she is on immunosuppressive medications for her crohn's like Prednisone or other immunosuppresants. Please call her doctor and have her evaluated. If she has worsening of symptoms, pain, fever, vomiting or rash then she would have to go to the emergency department.

I some times wake up at night with a fever (100.3-101.5) bodyaches & chills. Then a few hours later I wake up soaked, no fever. What may be going on?

I some times wake up at night with a fever (100.3-101.5) bodyaches & chills. Then a few hours later I wake up soaked, no fever. What may be going on?

A number of things: The first thing you always think of with a fever is an infection going on somewhere in your body.Tuberculosis and abscesses are the most common infections in people with fever of unknown origin.Connective tissue diseases, certain cancers, thyroid problems, and familial mediterranean fever are other possibilities. You should see your doc and have some tests run to rule these things out.

My husband had un controllable chills last night, but no fever and he wasn't cold to the touch. He couldn't stop whole body from shaking.?

Chills: These are often related to the differential temperatures between the individual and the ambient atmosphere temp. Sometimes the stimulus from the area of the brain (hypothalamus) that serves as the body thermostat creates chilling to increase the body temp by muscular activity and he may have developed fever later after the chills. Need more info for more advice.

I have cold chills and allergy attacks but no fever?

Allergy attacks: If by allergy attacks you mean sneezing and runny stuffy nose, you may have allergies and they don't give you a fever. You need to see an allergist to determine what you are reacting to.

Vomiting and chills with no fever.?

Vomiting and chills with no fever.?

Vomiting & no fever: This sounds as if you have a mechanical obstruction. If this does not resolve within 24-48 hours, I would seek medical attention. I would do this sooner if you are unable to keep down fluids.

No fever or flu symptoms just chills HIV delated?

Can be anything: Chills suggest the presence of a systemic infection but one cannot tell the cause without an exam and likely some blood tests. Consult your doctor.
