Well ... (go to doc): I think that several of the more serious possibilities - incarcerated hernia, orchitis & epididymitis, were ruled out by your lack of swelling. And tortion & cancer could be r/o by scrotal ultrasound, which I'm assuming you received. That leaves following up with your doc, or even a specialist Urologist, as your next best way to get answers. STOP: do NOT use Hydrocortisone on your scrotum! You have a chemical burn. You should see a doctor for a thorough exam due to the area that is burnt. In the mean time you can use Vaseline to cover and sooth the area. ...Read more

Hard to say.: Hanging low is not necessarily anything to be worried about - there is always some asymmetry of the testicles and this can change with the temperature. Mild pain in the scrotum - or even testicle - testicle can be caused by a large variety of things including repeated minor trauma or infection.
