Discuss also with MD: He has had more than the usual amount of radiation for a 3 year old but these tests are usually quite safe and do not lead to long term complications. Chest and neck x rays have far less radiation than a brain ct. Using sunscreen and a hat during peak sun hours will decrease his exposure to uv rays.
