Chest Pain When Moving Around
History of Chest pain, hurts when moving around, bending. When laying down back hurts between shoulder blade, rattling in lungs, difficulty breathing.
Too many symptoms--: For me to sort out what is going on in this forum, but many are serious enough that you should see a doctor ASAP!!! Good luck.
Likely muscular: Usually if the pain occurs with movement it is probably related to the muscles that enable your arm to work. If you can recreate the pain by pressing on the area with your hand/fingers this should make it more clear that it is muscular in nature. Feel better.
I'm 37 female have chest pain when moving and in general feel poorly I have sle lupus id this part of its overall sysmtoms?
Lupus: If you have been formally diagnosed as having lupus by a physician, it is not unusual to have pleurisy and fatigue. Pleurisy is the inflammation of the lining of the lung, and can be quite painful. Treatment of the pleurisy follows treatment of your lupus. Your rheumatologist should be able to adjust your medications to reflect your worsening symptoms.See 2 more doctor answers
Can asthma cause chest pain when moving my upper torso? When I lay down in some positions the pain goes away. When sitting is worst. I don't cough @all
CP of asthma.: If anything, asthma may cause a chest discomfort that occurs when taking in a deep breath. Shouldn't be reliably related to body position. This may be due to something else.
Can asthma cause chest pain when moving my body? In some positions the pain goes away. Sitting is worst. I don't cough at all. Also difficult breathing
Chest pain: Yes it could be and get seen soon
Chest pain when moving going toward the left side of my chest and towards my left shoulder. I also have fairly bad heartburn from time to time. Why?
Probable esophageal: The problem of heartburn and chest pain are closely related. Heartburn, a symptom of gastro-esophageal reflux (gerd), can occasionally result in spasm of the lower part of the esophagus. This is perceived in your brain as left sided chest, shoulder, and arm pain. It is a great mimic to cardiac pain. The underlying problem is likely gerd as consequence of abnormalities such as a hiatal hernia.
Central Chest pain when moving upper body or bending forward, no pain upon rest or inhaling, could this just be muscular?
Yes: The presence of chest pain with movement most often indicates a muscular cause. Usually cardiac pain is worse with exertion, and lung related causes of chest pain are worse with breathing. Nothing is ever 100%, though. If you have risk factors for heart disease (smoking, obesity, high BP, diabetes, or a family history), see your doctor to be sure. Hope this helps!
Weakness in legs, muscles twitching all over body, hot flashes, center chest pain when moving a certain way or sitting up right, pain/weakness in neck?
Chest pain: Please have someone take you the nearest Emergency facility as soon as possible. They will look after you and things should be OK.
Left chest pain when moving left arm and when bending forward. I don't know if its inside the breast that hurts or the chest itself. What is it? Is it a tension muscle in chest that make it hurts? Or heart issue?
Left chest pain: May be nerve or tendon (if not allergic try NSIAD) or costochondritis inflammation of the rib junction-palpate on your chest -see if reproduces pain or TMJ or reflux/ GERD, esophagitis -see if ranitidine/ prevacid / maalox changes pain (if not allergic). Rarely may be breast, lymph node inflammation (palpate breast, under arm) or the lining around the heart pericarditis. F/u/ w/ doc
Feeling of internal trembling. Chest pain when moving in my left breast/chest area. Swollen gland in throat. Heartburn occasionally. Rapid hr. Causes?
Sound anxious: These are all symptoms which could be caused by anxiety. So you need to learn how to relax and control your emotions and have a good handle over your life. You may need counseling which can be helpful to calm you down. In the meantime, try to do daily exercise (like walk for half an hour) as this will strengthen your body and reduce your mental stress level.
I been having chest pain when I pick up heavy things and also just by moving. Started on the right side of chest now its in the center. What to do?
Musculoskeletal: Unlikely to be cardiac at your age, but any chest pain should be checked out. See your doc.
Sharp chest pain at the center and a little bit on the left side. When breathing, coughing or just moving.
Musculoskeletal: At age 16, this is most likely a problem with the rib cage itself, maybe something called costochondritis. These things are not dangerous. Best to see a primary care provider if you're worried. Hope this helps!
Upper back and chest pain has been bothering me a lot today. It only happens while moving or in certain positions though. Can it be anxiety or serious?
Likely: Musculoskeletal. ..See if symptoms persist tomorrow.Get a more detailed answer ›
Chest pain during moving or deep breathing It started yesterday I played the day before yesterday chest exercises at gym No other symptoms?
Probably: Musculoskeletal but if it lasts more than 48 hours you should see health care provider for evaluation. Try a non steroidal anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen to see if it helps.
Center of chest pain when body moves and/or during deep inhalations while moving. Zero pain while sitting/motionless or upon palpation. Cardiac?
No: This seems to be musculoskeletal or coming from your lungs. Heart is not likely.
Intermittent sharp chest pain on left for 3 days. Feel fine then suddenly hurts severely when breathing or moving. Then feel fine again. Muscular?
Pinching: Sharp, shooting chest pains brought on by a deep breath, cough, or certain motions are often due to pinched intercostal nerve or muscle which runs between 2 ribs. This is more of a nuisance rather than anything serious and tends to resolve without any treatment. If symptoms persist, have your physician examine your chest carefully.
Chest pain in right side and middle. Its paining more while pressing. Paining while moving, breathing, head down, morning exercise and yoga.?
Costochondritis?: Rib bones don't come all the way to breast bone. Last few inches are more elastic cartilage so your chest can rise w/ breath & twist when you do. Where cartilage meets rib or breast bone, is a joint that gets inflamed & painful under right circumstances, like too much coughing, twisting, heavy lifting, etc. Can last up to 8 weeks, responds to ibuprofen. See md if worsening or persisting.
I'm having upper chest pain that's gets worse when moving or sitting up straight. Feel a pressure then pain when moving the area more on the rigt side?
This is likely: musculoskeletal pain, meaning that it originates from the muscles or connecting tissues in the chest wall, ribs and sternum (breast bone). There may be some inflammation in these tissues, or even in the lung lining (pleuritis). Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories work well for this and I would advise full dose ibuprofen or naproxen. Icing may help. Avoid re-injury...lifting, carrying heavy objects.
