Quite a few causes: Chestwall itself, esophagus/stomache, lungs, heart, pancreas, and even liver problems can cause chest pain. In the young, more likely chestwall itself or reflux is causing pain. As we get older heart disease becomes more common cause of concern. Since u gave only limitted info, it is diiffult to tell what you have. Please repost a more specific question or consult your doc. Correlated or not?: It is hard to know, especially without doing a physical exam and taking a complete medical history, whether or not the long standing enlarged lymph nodes (how big?) and your new symptoms are related. If you have not been to a physician, i would recommend going. It is reassuring the nodes have been stable for a year. Further testing, if warranted, can be done to figure out what is going on. ...Read more

Abnormal?: Were the mammogram and ultrasound abnormal? If so then I would assume you are set to see a breast specialist for biopsy? The lymph node is coming from whatever process (tumor) is going on in the breast. ...Read more
