Pleuritic pain?: It could be part of your left lung that is sticky and rubbing against your chest wall causing pain. Taking nsaids may help reduce the symptoms. Fold in the pleura?: Texidor's twinge. If this feels like it's a stabbing pain and worse when you breathe in, this is fairly common and utterly trivial. I believe it's the result of a fold in the pleural membrane; fill your lungs with as much air as possible and it vanishes. Or this may be some other minor pleural or other chest wall problem. Possible, but doubt: Lung cancer can occur in 27 yrs old who smokes, but chance is very low. Even if it is cancer, not likely from smoking at this point.
