Chest Pain Jaw Pain Headache
Heart IS fine. But chest pain (sharp), jaw pain (dull), headaches and very specific pain in left shoulder tip, elbow and pinky and ring finger. Why?!
Cervical spine?: The distribution of pain in the shoulder, elbow, and 4th and 5th fingers follows a dermatome: the distribution of a nerve root that originates in your neck. A herniated cervical disk (in your age group, usually due to trauma) is the most likely cause but there are rare causes too. Was your MRI of your neck? ...Read more

Neck if not heart: Any time one experiences chest pain with Jaw, shoulder and arm involvement, ruling out a cardiac cause is paramount. Have your doc look into your neck as the cause where you might need PT, injections and meds to clear things up. ...Read more

Chest pain, jaw pain, leftarmpain, palps. All normal tests so far 2012/2013. 11 months symptom free taking Diltiazem. Now returned. Angiogram needed?
Probably not...but: It maybe necessary given your persistent symptoms and the anxiety they are likely causing. Remember non-invasive tests are not 100%. Angiography is the good standard in ruling out coronary artery disease. I suspect you could be having coronary artery spasm that can't be picked up on angiography usually (just my 2 pennies). Hope that helps. ...Read more
I been experiencing chest pain, jaw pain, upper neck and back pain and get shortness of breathe at times? The doctors can't seem to find an answer?
Very Hard to say: If you've had testing to rule out major problems, then it could be anxiety, over exertion or other lesser problems. What brings on these symptoms? Occur after eating? Do you have them constantly or if occasional, then try to keep a log, write down what you were doing prior to feeling these symptoms, possibly you are doing something, consistently that can be changed to stop these problems. ...Read more

Yes: Neck and jaw pain without chest pain would be considered an "atypical" presentation but it does happen. Remember that a heart attack can (and does in 30-50% of cases) have no pain. Other symptoms that commonly accompany heart attacks are: breathlessness, cold-clammy sweat, nausea and sometimes vomiting. Recurring pain is not likely your heart since frequent recurrent heart attacks are unlikely. ...Read more

You have apparently been evaluated and do not have an organic cause for your symptoms. You may wish to discuss with your doctor that you may be depressed. Depression is not a moral failing but a chemical imbalance in the brain that is treatable.
