What can cause me to have sharp chest pain associated with high left side back pain up into the back of my neck sometimes causing a headache?

Heart Disease?: With the limited information, the foremost concern would be a heart condition such as angina. I would recommend that you get evaluated as soon as possible. It is possible you have cervical spine or a muscular cause for your symptoms, but these conditions are not life-threatening. Please get a cardiology evaluation first and make sure you don't have symptoms related to heart disease. ...Read more

Headache chest pain upper back pain and lower stomach pain all lasting for two weeks. Any remedies?

May be due to stress: Too many different systems involed. Are you under stress? Do you exercise and perhaps strained you neck. Tension can cause headaches and stress can induce pain anywhere. Since you make no mention of joint pain, I assume the pain is more musculoskeletal. You make no mention of diarrhea or constipation as well. MANY THINGS: I can think of many things - some of which don't fit because of your age. You need to sit down with a dr and eliminate the ones that you can - then check outwhat's left. There wasn't space for you to mention everything that could be important. If your dr can't find a trail to follow your next stop is a psychotherapist. Have compression fracture at t10 for over 6 yrs. About once a mth I get back pain, chest pain and headache from this area, help was diagnosed with compression fracture at t10, and have had two spinal shots, about 5-6 yrs ago. Most of the time I am fine,

I: I agree that the jaw pain is not related to the spine fracture. Chronic back pain is fairly common. Maintaining ideal body weight, keeping good posture habits, regular stretching and exercise program, having a good mattress, putting pillows under knees at night to keep them bent are excellent measures to decrease or avoid flare ups. I personally like acupuncture and the use of interferential unit for these cases. Try to avoid the use of narcotics since it adds way too many problems including constipation, tolerance, chemical dependency and many other unintended consequences. ...Read more
