I don't really feel sick but I have a dry cough that is really making my chest hurt and burn. Feels like a constant need to cough. No sputem. Help!
Possible reflux: Try some Prilosec or zantac (ranitidine). You may be suffering from reflux which will need a trial of treatment you should try a low acid diet. Look it up on the internet. Good luck. You will need to use the Prilosec 20 mg twice a day. Taken one hr before breakfast and supper on an empty stomach. Nothing else is taken with this med except for thyroid meds. Chestpain: Not all chestpains are from heart, as you are not getting the pain with your exercise probably not from the heart. It could be related to the stomach and esophagus with irritation/ulcer could muscular, from the bones and cartilage in the chest area. Have it examined to get the right treatment.
