Hi Doctor, When I get every morning I burpe even I eat my dinner night by 6:30-7. When I go for walk and I burpe and feel heavy in my chest like some?

May be a problem...: Involuntary belching after a meal is normal, caused by release of swallowed gas after distension of stomach with food. Magenblase syndrome is postprandial epigastric fullness ; bloating, relieved by belching. Aerophagia (accumulation of gas due to air swallowing) is common with anxiety, hypersalivation from gum chewing, smoking, drinking, oral irritation. In some, belching can become habitual. ...Read more

Chest pain after walking fast or upon lifting heavy &exercising at times even as I rest. Always on the left side only. Pain is moderate to severe. Why?

DoTheBest4YourChest: You ask "Why." I'll answer with another "Why" question: Why don't you call your doctor, or someone else's doctor and go in for a face-to-face where the specifics of your situation can be discussed and maybe a few tests done. There are many things that can cause what you describe but I don't want to scare you 'cause at your age they are rare and you'll probably do fine. But why take a chance? Call now. ...Read more

Asthma, angina, muscle? Diangosis w/ asthma when teen. Never experienced wheezing ever. Recently had very mild chest tightness when walking up stairs (not heavy or painful). I smoke marijuana & have anxiety

Needs evaluation: Nobody can diagnose the cause of chest pain purely on the basis of symptoms. If they are occurring with exertion, cardiac and lung causes need to be considered, but they can also be related to asthma or anxiety. Your doctor needs to take a thorough history, do a physical examination and then may want to do further tests. Xanax (alprazolam) is a very short-acting drug and there may be better choices. ...Read more
