Mgt: Most episodes of bronchitis are caused by viruses which can also trigger wheezing.
If you are wheezing, an inhaler called Albuterol is indicated. You may also need to take another medication such as an inhaled steroid, and/or an anti histamine. I would suggest a follow up with your doctor. In the meantime, rest, stay well hydrated, and monitor your temperature. ...Read more

Sore throats tricky: It's so hard to predict accurately when a sore throat IS NOT a strep throat. Your symptoms SOUND like either viral pharyngitis or allergic, right? But, you could also have strep. I would drink fluids, take a little something to knock the pain down a little, maybe some Motrin, and get a strep test done...you can go to a Minute Clinic or something....but I'd get it done. ...Read more
