Gastritis or GERD: hyperacidity from ingestion of foods: the cherries, pomegranate ice tea and plantains may be a cause. Was any alcohol consumed? I suggest OTC Prilosec or Nexium (esomeprazole) with Mylanta or Maalox. If not improving , please consult your PCP ...Read more
