Why haven't I bled after a chemical pregnancy? I've heard of missed miscarriage but not this early. It's been a month since neg test.

Give it 3 months: Any time a pregnancy ends (whether miscarriage or full-term delivery) it can take a little while for the regular cycle to get reestablished. If you do not have a period by three months after the pregnancy test returned to negative you should see your gyn for evaluation. ...Read more

I was bleedding kind of heavy two days later I took had 2 positive faint lines. Could this have been a miscarriage or chemical pregnancy?

Not sure: Miscarriage is a possibility but implantation bleeding is another option, although, implantation bleeding is usually light. If your home pregnancy test was "positive", a serum pregnancy test is the next step and repeating it in 2-3 days is recommended. If the level rises it may indicate a viable pregnancy (x2 elevation at least). ...Read more

Absolutely: MindBody: As embodied Souls? Mind? Brain? Body with >a million orders/second brain to body & similar feedback, body function is a direct extension of what is happening/orders from higher control centers. 30 yrs old. 2 first trimester miscarriages & a chemical pregnancy in past year. Should I see a specialist before ttc again? Chances of another m/c?

Yes: Yes, I would if I were you. You've had 3 miscarriages consecutively now. You need a full work up now to figure out if there is anything correctable. About 50% couples in your situation will never find a specific reason why. You still have a good chance (over 50%) of having a normal pregnancy next time. ...Read more

What are the statistical odds of impregnation on ovulation day and does that stat factor in the likely following chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage?

What are the statistical odds of impregnation on ovulation day and does that stat factor in the likely following chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage?

Complex..: Prospective estimation of date of ovulation and retrospective estimation of date of conception are closely related since conception occurs within a few hours following ovulation, (Royston, 1982; Wilcox et al., 1995). In pregnant women, the true day of conception is considered as the true day of ovulation. Late fertilization (after more than few hours) has been associated with early loss. ...Read more

No: Don't sweat the numbers! HCG values are variable and anything over about 30 17 days after lh surge or about 15 or 16 days from ovulation is potentially compatible with pregnancy. The numbers vary quite a bit. We encourage patients not to follow the numbers this closely. Good luck. ...Read more
