More exams needed: Neuralgia is a condition that the nerve fibers are inflamed or infected with a viral condition that can cause numbness in your face. I suggest you watch your face for any asymmetry over the next few days, like maybe a corner of the mouth will droop or only half your smile will show or one of your eyes is a bit weak. If so, at your age, it won't be a stroke but could be a temporary nerve problem so see a doctor for evaluation and treatment. Ditto, if just the numbness persists. ...Read more

The squiggly lines in your vision, the tingling facial sensation, & the numbness in your hand are not infrequently associated with migraines. Neurologist: These seemingly dissociated neurologic symptoms could be caused by a demyelinating disorder such as multiple sclerosis and i recommend an examination by a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment, if necessary.
