I have pelvic inflamatory disease but my bf and i both developed a chancre like sore on out genitals what could this be?

Herpes?: "Chancre" implies syphilis, but that's currently rare in h heterosexuals in the US, where most syphilis is occuring in gay men. The most common cause of genital ulcers ("chancre like sore") is genital herpes. You both should be examined and tested ASAP; both herpes diagnosis and treatment are much more accurate the sooner they are done. It might be something else, but better safe than sorry. ...Read more

Chancre: The most common source of a painless chancre on the penis would be syphilis and suggest that you be tested for this as well as other STDs. This usually occurs within 21 days, plus or minus, of the exposure, and I cannot explain the long delay of 8 months. Suggest you see a dermatologist. For your interest, the word "chancre" comes from the french and means "little ulcer". ...Read more

1mm x 4mm painless "sore" just below the head of my penis no other symptoms. A chancre? But I haven't had sex in the last 8months. What could it be?

Tricky not seeing it: Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health, Dermatologic conditions are hard to evaluate without seeing them in person. Non-std skin conditions (boils, cuts, skin tears) can occur. Std's can occur long after sex. Syphillis would generally be sooner and it is rare Herpes can occur at any time and it is common ...Read more

What is the treatment for crank sore?

Canker sore: If you meant canker sores, the typical treatment I have recommended is warm salt water rinses with liquid antihistamine mixed together. You can even dab some liquid antihistamine on the sore and experience relief. There is also a numbing paste (something like anebesol) which you can put on to protect from worsening. Get plenty of rest and hydration too. ...Read more
