Pretty good: Unless you get yourself much better disciplined regarding your birthcontrol, the chances of pregnancy are excellent if you and your partner(s)are fertile and you have fairly frequent sex w/out condoms. Birth Control Pills: If taken correctly, on time, and if no other medications like antibiotics are used then pills are 99.9% effective. Not everyone takes them correctly. Be careful if you take any antibiotic and use a back up method. It would seem the risk of you getting pregnant is low. Wait: Sometimes your periods can be delayed due to fluctuations in hormones. If you dont have a period in a week, repeat the preg test then. you may have a delay or missed period without being pregnant. It is not common but does happen best wishes Dr M ...Read more

Yes and No: The symptoms that occur during the time right before your period comes definitely are similar to symptoms of pregnancy: bloating, tender breasts, sometimes nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain/fullness. If you skip your last week of placebo pills and go straight to next pack, no, that doesn't increase your risk for pregnancy if that was your question. Hope that helps! ...Read more

What are your goals?: It sounds as though you were wanting to be pregnant. If so then there is no reason to be taking birth control. Missing pills makes pregnancy more likely than taking them correctly but still less likely than someone who is not on them at all.
