My tubes were cut and tied after my C-section 7 years ago, what are my chances of getting Pregnant with out surgery? What are the steps to do?
Almost none: The purpose of a tubal ligation is permanent sterilization. Your ability to get pregnant is less than 1%, and if you have not become pregnant after 7 years it is approaching zero. There is nothing you can do short of surgical reversal. If you want to do that you need to see a GYN. ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›

I am 39 years old and want to get my tubes untied , what are my chances of getting pregnant again?
Ok: Success of a tubal reversal depends on three things: age of the patient and at 39 you are still ok, skill of the surgeon and length of tubal segments remaining. In my experience, the "bands" are the easiest to reverse and give you the best success rates. Ivf is also an option but generally is more expensive. It is a choice. Good luck. ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›
I had my tubes tied 9 yrs ago and just recently remarried. We had a miscarriage in oct. 2011 how can we get pregnant again and how can we increase our chances of getting pregnant again and lower our risk of another miscarriage?
I : I am assuming you had a reversal procedure. Please reply if otherwise. To help pin point ovulation thus having a better chance of conceiving buy an ovulation prediction kit and follow the detailed instructions. As far as lowering the risk of miscarriage, this is nearly impossible. Most pregnancies that end in miscarriage are a result of the fetus having a chromosomal defect that is incompatible with life. There are other causes of miscarriage (clotting disoders etc.) but these are not usually considered until a woman has 3 miscarriages. Please see your doctor; after obtaining a detailed history from you and your partner he/she will be able to give more applicable advice. I wish you the best of luck. ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›
I had a tubuligation two and a half yrs ago they cut and burned my tubes. Do i still have a chance of getting pregnant even after that was done? Help!
Yes: You have two options- one is to do a reversal of your tubal sterilization. It doesn't matter how your tubes were tied, only if you have enough tubal segments left. In the right hands, pregnancy rates are very good and the risk of an ectopic pregnancy is low. The other option is ivf, which also can be very successful; generally more expensive. It is a choice for you and your partner to make. ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›
How if I get the surgery done to unblock my tubes what are my chances are for me getting pregnant after?
