Had cryosurgery on 10/30 on my cervix I have continued to spot every day since that sex has become very painful to the point of tears dr won't help?

See another doc..: I am sorry to hear of your trouble. Cryosurgery of the cervix done 1 month ago should have healed by now. I am not too concerned about a bit of spotting because the tissue of healing cervix is thin and easily traumatized with intercourse. The severe pain is really concerning as this suggests possible infection/cervicitis or endometritis etc...See you family doc or another gyn doc asap. Good luck. ...Read more

Yes: If the hymen is intact, with rare exceptions, the doctor should not be looking at the cervix. Virginal women cannot have cervical disease. If there is some reason to be looking at the cervix, such as unexplained bleeding or pain or exposure before birth to des or trauma, the exam should be done by a doctor equipped with methods of exam that are less invasive. ...Read more

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have been having pain that feels like tearing at my cervix. No bleeding has been noted. Do i need to go to the hospital?

Yes: It's not likely your cervix is tearing, but without all of your history and medical information, at 34 weeks, if you feel like something may be wrong, it's always best to get checked out. Labor & delivery is open 24 hours a day and that's what they are there for.... To make sure that you and your baby are okay. Better safe! ...Read more
