Well, no...: To begin, it's not possible to see one's own cervix unless perhaps a photograph has been provided to you from an exam. It's understandable to confuse the cervix with the vaginal opening or labia minora. Regardless, most growths on a cervix should be removed and examined once identified. Beeding : Cervical polyps cause irregular bleeding but not much else. 2 months seems like a long time to wait for something as easy as a poly removal. Unless it is really big most can be removed in the office in seconds. Don't be afraid to ask for an earlier appointment. ...Read more

Very friable: Emdocervical polyps bleed easily in pregnancy simply from the engorgement (swelling) that occurs with pregnancy. The polyp wall is thin, erodes easily, and can bleed spontaneously especially if extruding from the cervix. Better to deal with it after delivery unless it causes problems. ...Read more

See ob/gyn: You should see your gynecologist and have your doctor check the lump on cervix- to rule out cervical/uterine cancer. Obviously it could be a polyp too, but, you don't want to assume-rather you should have it biopsied and taken care off- especially that is likely that it is causing the post-coital bleeding and that you are now trying to conceive- absolutely you should go to see md and go from there. ...Read more
