Mild cervix erosion along with intense/mild vulvovaginal itching. Earlier discharge was heavy and yellow, now mild, normal. Currently on gla 120.Help?

Yellow Discharge: The yellow vaginal discharge, especially if it was frothy and had a "fishy" odor, probably represents an infection called trichomomas. This needs to be treated. The gamma linolenic acid is controversial - some health providers tout its effectiveness as an anti- inflammatory drug, but it will not eradicate trichomomas. I would call your gynecologist and get checked out for a likely infection. ...Read more

However, acupuncture, and most modalities, will not regenerate any tissue in your neck, but strengthening surrounding structures will help support the area. That's not outside: of what would be expected with normal healing, although it's often difficult to interpret where pain in the vagina/cervix/uterus is actually coming from. Nothing should have been inserted into the vagina up to this point. I think it would be safe to just watch and wait another week or so; contact her doctor if she is concerned in the meantime, especially if discharge or bleeding. Best wishes:) ...Read more
