Three swollen cervical lymph nodes all on left side of neck some ear pain doctor HS seen one of them says wait 2 month fbc normal should I be worried?
Lymph nodes: The lymph nodes usually enlarge as response to an infection in the vicinity. It lasts maximum 2-3 weeks and as the infection goes away (with antibiotics usually) the lymph nodes disappear. Outside this scenario, i would be worried and demand further investigation (ct is appropriate, a blood smear and CBC with differential, as well as a bmp with enzymes markers analysis) up to an excision biopy. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

2 pos cervical nodes swollen since 15 months, firm, painless, non tender, movable. No enlargement but also no response to antibiotics (both 1cm).Cancer?

On the other hand, nodes that are not indurated (hard to the touch), or fixed to underlying tissues, and which have not changed in 15 mos. Do not fit the general picture associated with malignancies, and in the absence of any other systemic symptoms this seems very unlikely to be cancerous in a 24 yo. Let your doctor make the decision. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

For the last two month alcohol consumption has been causing ear pain and swollen cervical nodes. One drink is all it takes.
Not sure why: I asked one of my ENT colleagues if he had seen this, and he said he had not. I don't know why alcohol would do this, and it may actually be some kind of allergic reaction. It seems, though, that you keep trying to test it, so it would appear that drinking is important to you. I would see your pcp, and an ENT consultation (ears, nose&throat) might be necessary. Talk to your doctor about drinking. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Infection: You dont need to worry, but you should see your dentist again to get antibiotics if there is an infection. I assume you learned about the pericoronitis from your dentist?
