Cervical Facet Injection Side Effects
How effective are ozone injections to relief pain caused by kyphosis and facet pain? Do they have side effects?
I've had 3ESIs and 8 facet injections in appx 6wk period. What are potential side effects/and could my immunity be compromised?

Ozone injections: With the exception of ozone injected into a blood vessel (very bad complications) there are no known complications but also this therapy is questionable at best...What is being treated? I don't believe you should be trying this. ...Read more

Not likely: It sounds like they injected some Lidocaine with Epinephrine in your cervix today for a biopsy/colposcopy? Those medications they infected have a super short 1/2 life, meaning they don't stay in your system for very long at all. Definitely all gone by the time you wrote this question. Apart from the obvious location what is the difference between Cervical Facet Injections and ESI? E.g what risks apply and which one is less dangerous
Location: Facet injections place anti-inflammatory steroid into the joint(s) in the spine and the epidural steroid injection places steroid around the spinal cord, nerves and discs. Joint injection is very localized and usually requires more than one. ESI can have greater spread. Since the epidural space is just outside of the spinal cord, this is more risky.
