See specialist: If you had an accident of some sort months ago and were diagnosed w/ a sprain in the e .R . And are continuing to have pain then see your spine specialist for examination and further studies. I see in your history you have already had back surgery... Possibly: a known side effect of steroids, that may or may not happen. If you are already hypertensive, monitor your blood pressure daily while on medrol and tell your doctor if it becomes uncontrolled.
