I gave my 8 yr old his zyrtec this morning he takes 2 teaspoons. & bc he's sick I have him a teaspoon of ceron-dm for his cough. I read that it has an antihistamine in it too. I obviously won't give him more today but is that ok?

No: According to my source, the correct dose for children ages 6-11 is 1 tsp every 4 hours, not to exceed 6 teaspoons in 24 hours - you're fine! (the 1/2 tsp dose is for 2 - 5 year olds). ...Read moreGet help now ›
