I have lupus cerebritis and experience non-stop migraines since being diagnosed. Recently i find OTC analgesics to do work why do you think that is?
Any reason other than brain inflamm/cerebritis that prednisone always helps my lightheaded, fogginess/confusion? Md doesn't know cause. I have lupus.

Inflamed brain: Cerebritis is a term often used to describe the effect lupus has when brain is involved, i.e., areas of brain become inflamed and dysfunctional as a consequence. Probably not a good term as is somewhat misleading. ...Read more
Perhaps: If tuberculosis gets into the brain, this can clearly be deadly unless immediate intervention is accomplished. Often the spread results from tuberculoma rupturing and causing a tuberculous meningitis, and if pupils dilate, may be terminal. But if diagnosis is mad early, meds to treat may really turn around.
